Many products are preferably sourced from local producers. The pure mountain air, the work of our farmers and the climate of the region shape the taste: honest, natural and unmistakably South Tyrolean.
Breakfast with regional products
From 7:30 to 10:00 am, a varied breakfast buffet with fresh, carefully selected products awaits you – breakfast “like a king”, as they say in Val Casies.
This includes:
- freshly baked bread
- cold cuts
- yoghurt and fresh milk
- muesli and cornflakes
- jams, honey and butter
- homemade cakes
- fruit
- freshly squeezed juices
On request, we are happy to prepare fresh egg dishes for you.

Why regionality matters to us
Sustainability and the protection of nature are important to us. That is why we preferably use products from local producers for our breakfast.
Short transport distances and a close connection to the region help preserve the quality of the ingredients. At the same time, we support people in South Tyrol who work with experience and care.
We kindly ask for your understanding that small suppliers cannot always provide all required quantities. In such cases, we add carefully selected products from wholesalers.
Dinner with South Tyrolean and Italian specialities
In the evening, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, we treat you to a 4-course menu freshly prepared by chef Martin. The cuisine combines South Tyrolean specialities with Italian dishes and is complemented by a buffet with vegetables and fresh salads.
You can add dinner when booking or decide spontaneously at the hotel – at a particularly good price. Once a week, on Tuesdays, our kitchen enjoys its well-deserved evening off; the kitchen and hotel bar remain closed on that day.
The dishes are prepared with fresh and, wherever possible, local ingredients. This creates a dinner that feels good after a day in nature and rounds off your holiday at Turmhotel Gschwendt with pleasure.
